If you have been to the 'Tez in recent weeks, you may have noticed some changes.  Our remodeling continues, but the more exciting changes are to our menus!

We have pulled and perfected, timed and tweaked, pinched and prodded until we have found the PERFECT assortment of items for revised, updated, seasonal menu!

Our new house salad features fresh sliced strawberries and homemade poppyseed dressing.  We've got a great new avocado burger at lunch with crispy fried onions, and a savory salmon wrapp with spinach, feta cheese, and cucumber-dill yogurt.  At dinner we've got some delicious stuffed prawns and beautiful day boat scallops with toasted almond relish.

Modesto is home to what has to be one of the county's,  the state's, the country's, maybe even THE WORLD'S greatest youth theater companies! 

For 18 years, the Youth Entertainment Stage (YES) Company has been creating fantastic shows featuring local youth actors, dancers, and singers.  This week and weekend you can catch their big summer performance-- Meredith Wilson's The Music Man.

This classic American musical fetures stage song favorites like "76 Trombones" and "Til There Was You" as well as a lovable cast of characters evocative of small town Americana.

Whether you consider yourself a "theater person" or not, we urge you to attend this show this season if you can.  It's a fun and delightful stage show for all levels of arts appreciation, and the talent of our local kids will ASTOUND you!

And if you need a place to grab a quick bite before the show, come give our new lunch or dinner menu a try at Appetéz or at Buddy's!

Earlier this summer Appetéz brought in wines from the Rusack Winery as our featured wines for the month of June.  With nary a detractor, Rusack wines have found favor with almost everyone who samples a sip!

From the fruity and crisp Sauvignon Blanc to their bold and lush ANACAPA blend, they have been delightful wines for us to sample and sell.

And you, lucky reader, have the fine fortune of learning that we still have some Rusack wines here!

Most are available by the glass and all are available by the bottle; we are still pouring Rusack's:
- Sauvignon Blanc
- Chardonnay
- Pinot Noir
- ANACAPA

** May we also note that Rusack wines are not available at local wine retailers.  In case you are looking for an excuse to come and visit Appetéz (wink wink).

2) Arrive at Appetéz and let friendly Sales Staff pair a lovely Rusack Wine to go with your meal.

Why the Secret?
Buddy's Grand Opening Party won't be 'til later this summer, but for the next few weeks, Buddy's will be open from 4 pm to 10 pm as it quietly meets its new neighbors before showing off with a big party and new menu.
In the meantime, cold beer, fine wine, and tasty snacks from the 'Tez menu are available at Buddy's.
